Who we are
The Sales Motor, Emmalaan 25, 1075 AT Amsterdam, the Netherlands. KVK 89463528. VAT NL004029476B82. The Sales Motor is a trade name registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. For this policy or any privacy request: contact@thesalesmotor.com. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

What we collect
Your name, email and what you type in our forms, such as what you sell. Your account and subscription details. Payment and invoice data. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider, we never see or store them. The materials you send us for your funnel. Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp. Booking details if you schedule a call. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser and pages viewed.
We do not aim our service at anyone under 18.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
To create your account, build your funnel and deliver the service: contract. To send you service emails, such as onboarding, billing and changes to our terms: contract. To send you other emails you signed up for, such as our email lessons: consent, with a one-click unsubscribe in every email. Invoices and tax records: legal obligation. Security, fraud prevention and improving our service: legitimate interest.
How long we keep it
Invoices and tax records: as long as Dutch tax law requires, currently 7 years. Account data: for as long as you have an account, and up to 30 days after it ends. Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Booking and support messages: as long as needed to handle them.
The providers we use
We use these providers to run the service. Each one processes data under its own terms and data processing agreement, which apply when we use them:
Systeme.io, operated by ITACWT Limited, Ireland: the platform for pages, accounts, contacts, email and checkout. Most of the data on this site and in your account is stored there.
Stripe: payments.
ThriveCart: checkout and invoices.
LunaCal: call booking.
Zoom: video calls, and the recording and transcript if we record a call with you, so we can build from what you said.
Livid: storing videos.
WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us there.
Bunny Fonts (BunnyWay, Slovenia): loads the fonts on our pages, without cookies and without storing your IP address.
Umami: counts visits to our website, without cookies. Data stored in the European Union.
Anthropic (Claude): an AI tool that helps us write your pages, emails and launch posts from the materials you send us. We check everything before you see it.
Some of these providers may store data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies, to run the site, the login and the checkout. These do not need consent. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
To count visits we use Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool. It does not place cookies, does not store your full IP address and does not follow you across other websites. It records the page you visit, the website you came from, your browser, device type and country, so we can see how many people visit each page. We use it on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how our website is used, and because it places no cookies, we don't ask for your consent for it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, or to stop marketing emails. Write to contact@thesalesmotor.com. We may keep invoices after a deletion request where tax law requires it.
Security
We use access control, encrypted connections and two-factor login where available. No system is 100% secure.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change affects your rights and we have your email, we tell you.
